UBC experts on Ebola virus outbreak
An outbreak of Bundibugyo virus disease, a type of Ebola disease for which there are no approved vaccines or specific treatments, has occurred in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The federal government has advised Canadians to avoid all travel to the Ituri and North Kivu provinces of the DRC.
