Castanet featured research from UBC’s Okanagan campus that examined the connection between psychopathy and an unhappy life.
The study by UBCO psychology professor Mark Holder assessed the well-being of 450 undergrad students and determined their level of psychopathy.
“The more traits individuals share with psychopaths, the less well-being they display, and the more ill-being (depression) they exhibit,” Holder said of the study’s results. “Psychopaths tend to be really unhappy people.”
