UBC sociology professor Amin Ghaziani was interviewed for an article on gay neighbourhoods in Brick Underground.
“Many sexual minorities now perceive themselves as culturally similar to heterosexuals, and heterosexuals say they don’t care about a person’s sexuality anymore,” Ghaziani said. “That mindset affects the decision that people make about where they want to live. Many more parts of the city will feel viable to them.”
