Xiaohua Wei, a professor of forest hydrology in UBC’s department of earth, environmental and geographic sciences, was quoted in a National Observer article about a report that detailed the need for Canadian government departments to work closer together to learn how fossil fuel extraction, mining and logging disrupt the interactions between forests and water.
Wei is a lead author for several chapters of the report.
