The Conversation published an op-ed by Paul van Donkelaar, a professor in UBC’s faculty of health and social development, about brain injury caused by domestic violence.
“Staff at women’s shelters and many other women-serving agencies generally don’t have the knowledge, training or tools to screen for brain injury at intake,” he wrote.
