Joe Wai, a local architect and advocate for Chinese-Canadians, passed away at age 76, the Georgia Straight reported.
Henry Yu, a UBC historian, honoured Wai on his blog. Wai served on the UBC board of governors and advocated for the history of Chinese-Canadians.
