Business News Network reported on UBC’s Brock Commons, which is currently the tallest wood tower in the world.
The new 18-storey student residence is a hybrid structure made mostly of timber with steel connectors and the first two floors are made of concrete. The wood was all constructed in an Okanagan plant then shipped to Vancouver.
