University reserves legal right to continue fight for road access

Kelowna Daily Courier reported on UBC Okanagan’s potential court appeal for access to the school by way of a private road.

The university notified residents of Curtis Road that the institution is considering an appeal of a B.C. Supreme Court judgement that effectively cut-off access to the campus from the Glenmore Valley.

“The notice basically preserves the university’s legal right to proceed with an appeal at some point in the future,” said UBC Okanagan spokesman Bud Mortenson.
