The Vancouver Courier honoured the life of Les Jozsa, a former forestry research scientist at UBC who died last week following a battle with cancer.
In 1992, Jozsa gifted a welcoming gate carved from yellow cedar to the UBC faculty of forestry. The gate is still on the campus today.
