Tom Scholte, a professor in UBC’s department of theatre and film, spoke to CKNW about Bob Dylan winning the Nobel Prize in Literature.
“I can’t believe people are so surprised. Not only has his name floated around for a few years as a possibility, but he’s been studied seriously by the academy in university literature programs from here in North America to Oxford and Cambridge,” he said.
