The Province featured UBC hockey player Cassandra Vilgrain who scored three goals and contributed two assists in the Thunderbirds’ Canada West season opening weekend.
“She has such a quick release and she is just a dynamic athlete,” said UBC head coach Graham Thomas. “But she has come in here so humble and modest. She wants to be a part of this culture and she has bought in. There hasn’t been a hint of attitude.”
