University Affairs featured an interview with Akeel Al-Dabboos, a UBC dentistry alumnus, for an article on university programs that bridge education with workplace experience.
Al-Dabboos said he appreciated UBC’s emphasis on the practical experience instead of theory.
“More than half the time, we were involved with the dental clinic, treating people,” he said.
