Roundhouse Radio spoke with Charles Menzies, a UBC anthropology professor, about his new book People of the Saltwater which explores the history of an ancient Tsimshian community.
“At the time people don’t realize they’re in the same physical place but they’re in very different worlds. Sometimes those worlds don’t interact,” he said. “And this book emerges out of that kind of questioning.”
