CBC reported that a woman is recovering in hospital after she was assaulted by a man she knew on UBC campus.
Police said the suspect, who is now in custody, was apprehended by another man after he allegedly assaulted the woman, the article reported.
RCMP were called to a student residence after reports the assault suspect was being held down until police arrived.
