Major infrastructure investment at UBC

Canadian Business Journal reported on the recent federal-provincial $51.5-million investment in UBC.

The funds will support new and renewed state-of-the-art learning facilities for people interested in training for a career in life sciences, medicine or sports medicine.

“Here is a wonderful example of our federal and provincial governments working together to make significant improvements to university infrastructure so that UBC can continue to attract leading researchers and provide students with the best possible learning facilities,” said Santa Ono, UBC’s president and vice chancellor.
