The Vancouver Sun reported on a project to develop wireless connected vehicle technology that is being tested in Edmonton.
The technology, a partnership between the University of Alberta, UBC and the government, could allow roadside signs, traffic lights and other cars to communicate with connected vehicles and warn drivers if they’re following too closely or alert them about oncoming trouble.
