In an Op-Ed in the National Post, UBC’s Michael Byers argues that Canada should select fighter jets that do not require pilots in the future.
“At the dawn of the age of autonomous aircraft, investing in a full fleet of piloted fighters would be an expensive mistake,” said Byers, who holds the Canada Research Chair in Global Politics and International Law at UBC.
