The Vancouver Sun featured a study on lucrative catch-and-release sport fishing as it relates to threatened white sturgeon in the lower Fraser River
Scott Hinch, a professor in UBC’s department of forest and conservation sciences, participated in the study which found that sturgeon suffered wide-ranging physiological stress and some even died during the experiment.
