24 Hours Vancouver featured the UBC eSports Association as they look to work with young gamers at local high schools to help them expand their clubs and learn various skills.
“What we’re trying to do is use gaming as a basic platform to develop other skills,” said Han Yuan, UBCEA senior advisor. “We’re going to help mentor them and we’re also going to help them create proposals so they understand how to ask large organizations for sponsorship.”
