Kelowna Capital News featured a Kelowna education technology startup that is used in employee training at UBC.
The company’s software allows anyone to create their own mobile learning apps. The Software-as-a-Service app Practi, combines a student interface for learning math, science, and languages with a teacher-oriented app for designing and publishing courses.
“UBC has been amazing for me – it was ground-breaking, to start that partnership. Their education faculty, the comp-sci department, the math professors, the industry liaison officer…anything we needed, they were there,” Garn said.
