Montecristo Magazine featured research by Doug Altshuler, a UBC zoologist, on the physiology of hummingbird flight.
Altshuler is working on a study focusing on the role that vision plays in controlling the flight of Anna’s hummingbirds.
“This research is giving us new insights into the workings of the birds’ brains,” Altshuler said. “It’s a largely unexplored area.”
