China, Russia, Mongolia sign agreement

China, Russia, and Mongolia have signed a long-awaited economic partnership agreement, reports The Diplomat. The article goes on to say that some analysts worry the agreement won’t help Mongolia much, as it has the weakest economy of the group. UBC Mongolia specialist Julian Dierkes describes Mongolia’s situation: “Economic possibilities on the one hand, [and, on the other,] trepidation about a situation where two powerful, sometimes overbearing neighbors agree.”
