National Geographic included research from UBC’s conservation group Project Seahorse for an article on mating rituals of the tiny sea creatures.
Amanda Vincent, a UBC marine biologist and founder of Project Seahorse, spoke about how the pair bind is reinforced.
“The male and female seahorse come together repeatedly every morning to dance together,” Vincent said.
