Men could lose up to $8.6M to unhealthy habits

CTV News reported on work by the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF) at the start of Men’s Health Week.

Provincial funding of $2 million will be going to the Vancouver General Hospital and the UBC Hospital Foundation to expand their roles in the CMHF’s “Don’t Change Much” campaign.

A study by the non-profit found that men could save between $275,000 and $1.1 million over several decades by cutting out alcohol and cigarettes.
