Do snobbish sales associates lead you to buy more?

The Daily Times reported on shopping-related research from UBC’s Sauder school of business.

The study, titled “Should the Devil Sell Prada?” found that people who are snubbed by a sales associate could be more likely to make a purchase.

Sauder professor Darren Dahl compared the findings with the notion that everyone wants to be included with the “cool kids.”
