News 1130 interviewed UBC’s Sauder School of Business professor Tsur Sommerville after Vancouver’s mayor wrote an op-ed saying it is wrong to reduce the city’s housing crisis to a “series of sweeping generalizations.”
The op-ed was in response to a story in the Walrus, which said Chinese buyers are taking Vancouver real estate while politicians ignore the situation.
“Where I think the mayor misses the point is in putting all the blame for how things are on everybody else,” said Sommerville.
