Thanks to ICBC’s joint road improvement projects with partners, severe crashes in B.C. have fallen by 24 per cent, according to a UBC study led by civil engineers Tarek Sayed and Emanuele Sacchi.
Sayed and Sacchi evaluated crash data at 111 locations in the three years before and after the road improvement projects were completed.
