A Vancouver Sun article highlighted the no. 1 ranking of UBC’s faculty of education in the QS World University Rankings for 2016.
The department jumped from 18th to first in the country due to top-tier faculty, students and staff, said education dean Blye Frank.
The department is ranked ninth in the world, behind schools such as Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge and Oxford.
