Q&A with UBC prof M-J Milloy on new pot-use study

A new UBC pot-use study could help the federal government come up with regulations for the drug, according to CBC News.

The study led by M-J Milloy, an associate professor of medicine, will survey 1,500 cannabis users about their consumption habits.

Milloy believes a cannabis policy will succeed if it can reduce the harms of cannabis use, identify those who might become dependent, and develop “good strategies to identify those individuals and help them seek treatment for that dependence.”
