A new rainbow staircase was unveiled April 18 at UBCO Okanagan as part of an awareness-raising project by the Students’ Union, reports Kelowna Now.
“The word university has a root in universality and we would be a lesser place if we did not welcome everyone and include all in our activities here,” said UBCO principal and vice chancellor Deborah Buszard during the launch.
