Ontario voters head to the polls Thursday to elect their next premier.
Paul Kershaw, a University of British Columbia researcher who studies generational equity, analyzed the platforms of major parties and found that they all plan to raise government spending for older generations but will do little to help younger generations adapt to the pressing economic and social pressures shaping the 21st century. Kershaw is an associate professor in UBC’s School of Population and Public Health and the founder of the Generation Squeeze campaign.
