UBC professor listed among 20th century Canadians “who changed the world”

Michael Hayden, University Killam Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics, has been featured in Ken McGoogan’s recent book, 50 Canadians Who Changed the World (Harper Collins).

The book features activists, humanitarians, scientists and inventors who have had a global impact, and recounts Hayden’s early life and career, his arrival at UBC, and his significant achievements as a researcher in medical genetics, an entrepreneur in biotechnology, and a leader in his field.
