UBC Help Hear Haiti holds fundraiser

Triple H, a coalition of student groups across UBC, together with the Global Lounge Resource Centre and UBC faculty, will hold a discussion about the history, current situation and the future of Haiti and its people. Prof. Stephen J. Toope will offer his remarks to close the event.

Speakers will include:
• Allen Sens – senior instructor, Dept. of Political Science and Chair of the International Relations Program
• Jon Beasley-Murray – assistant professor, Dept. of French, Hispanic, and Italian Studies and teacher of Latin American Studies
• Alejandra Bronfman – associate professor, Dept. of History
• Representatives from Haiti Solidarity for BC
• Senior staff from Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders)

All proceeds go towards Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and their efforts in Haiti.
