Radio Canada quoted Michael Byers, the Canada Research Chair in Global Politics and International Law at UBC, after he wrote an op-ed about Canada’s shift in foreign policy.
“The new policy will likely achieve its stated goal, because the Arctic is a remote, difficult, dangerous and expensive place in which to operate,” Byers wrote.
