Yeast-produced cannabinoids are discussed in a new CBC News story.
“Marijuana produces lots and lots of THC, and lots and lots of another compound called CBD, but it also isn’t a very good source of some of the minor cannabinoids,” said Jonathan Page, a UBC botanist and CEO of Anandia Labs, which is working on using yeast to produce cannabinoids.
