Aarthi Gobinath, a UBC neuroscientist, was interviewed for a Vice story (also on Vice Canada) about the lack of testing on female physiology in neuroscience research.
She said there’s reason to question the assumption that the brains of males and females are identical, particularly in unique states like pregnancy.
