The Globe and Mail interviewed Eric Taylor, a UBC fish ecologist, after scientists determined that many populations of Fraser River sockeye are in such shocking decline that they should be listed under Canada’s Species at Risk Act.
“It’s a signal of a larger issue,” Taylor said.
