Many U.S. schools don’t teach CPR even when states require it

Reuters quoted Christopher Fordyce, a UBC cardiology professor, in a study that found many U.S. high schools don’t teach CPR though most states require it.

“[Schools] not only provide an opportunity for large-scale, mass training, but they theoretically straddle socioeconomic barriers and reach a wide demographic,” said Fordyce, who wasn’t involved in the study.
