UBC’s Okanagan campus is working with elementary school students at Willowstone Academy to explore the meaning of designing a thriving community, Kelowna Capital News reported.
Stephen Berg, a UBCO education professor, said “teacher candidates gain a greater understanding of comprehensive school programming, and students provide a student voice into what constitutes a healthy, thriving school/community.”
