Elizabeth Edinger, a professor at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law and private international law expert, was quoted in a Business in Vancouver story about a Guatemala mining case being heard in a B.C. court.
She said “we don’t have a single Supreme Court of Canada case that deals with the issue of alleged corruption or incompetence in the foreign legal system.”
