The Globe and Mail quoted Rick Schreiber, a UBC professor of pediatrics and the director of the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver, in a story about financial conflicts of interest in clinical practice guidelines.
Schreiber said the group is “trying to take as many steps as possible to ensure the highest ethical standards for guidelines.”
