The Economist cited a 2015 paper co-authored by Henry Siu, a UBC economist, in a story about productivity growth.
Siu and Nir Jaimovich of the University of Zurich found that America began suffering a rash of jobless recoveries since firms responded to recessions by eliminating routine jobs such as factory or call-centre work.
