Garry Clarke, a professor emeritus in UBC’s department of earth, ocean and atmospheric sciences, was quoted in a Mother Jones story about a nuclear base in Greenland that could leak toxic waste because of global warming.
He discussed the base, called Camp Century, saying it was almost an entire underground city.
