Kelowna Capital News reported on a mathematician from UBC’s Okanagan campus who was honoured with one of the country’s most prestigious awards.
Walaa Moursi, who will receive her PhD in mathematics, won the gold 2017 Governor General Academic Medal with a 99 per cent GPA.
