Newsweek highlighted research by Marina von Keyserlingk and Daniel Weary, professors in UBC’s faculty of land and food systems, that showed dairy cows will work hard to get outdoors for food.
Most of the cows they studied pushed equally hard to reach food as they did to enter the outdoor areas.
