For seniors, treatment for one eye disease may cause another

Research by Brennan D. Eadie, a resident in UBC’s ophthamology program, was featured on U.S. News & World Report.

Eadie found that patients who had age-related macular degeneration and received seven or more eye injections of the drug bevacizumab in one year had a higher risk of having glaucoma surgery.
