CBC Calgary featured an interview with Tim Silk, a professor of marketing at the UBC Sauder School of Business, after Alberta announced a $36-million rebate program to encourage rooftop solar panels on homes and businesses.
Silk said actual rebate redemption rates are very low, often less than 10 per cent.
