Barely educated humans impact bear behaviour

Science Daily featured research from UBC’s Okanagan campus that found although urban sprawl leads to more human-bear interactions, better human education is needed.

Lael Parrott, a UBCO professor of biology and earth and environmental sciences, said one approach would be to implement education programs that teach people how to keep their properties free from bear attractants.
