The Vancouver Sun mentioned UBC research in a story about the benefits of using thermal imaging to improve energy use efficiency for homeowners.
The city of Vancouver noted that recent UBC and University of Calgary research has shown that thermal imaging of homes at a neighbourhood scale can be a fairly accurate way to identify homes that can benefit from improved insulation, windows, and air tightness.
