Susan Birch, a UBC psychology professor was interviewed on Pulse FM (Nov. 16) about her research that found teaching children with iPad apps yielded the same result as teaching in person.
“In this particular study we were looking at factual learning in the presence of an adult and in those conditions we found that children were equally engaged,” she said.
Her research was also featured on Australian Women’s Weekly and Roundhouse Radio on Nov. 23.
